Vacuum Pressure Switches
A vacuum pressure switch operates by comparing the relative pressure between your process pressure and a vacuum. The benefit of this technology is the ability to measure pressure below your local atmospheric pressure, or in other words, to measure negative pressure. To accomplish this, a vacuum switch has a sealed reference chamber, as well as a diaphragm and a Belleville spring to actuate when your pressure set points are reached. These adjustable electrical switches come with a number of certifications, so they are a great match for general purpose areas, or can be explosion proof for hazardous locations. From filter and level monitoring to high static to well pump and compressor pressure control, these switches are found in many industrial applications. There are many options available through our configurator such as Hazardous area approvals, the output format of your switch, the wetted materials, and more. Use the filter and compare feature to find the switch for you!
